•Question #1: How does this episode fit into the narrative mode?
It is in first person form. It would show exactly how he feels for all that was happening, whether it is good or bad. •Questions #2: How does Mallman's story connect to the hiraeth story you are writing in this class? Consider his discussions about home and childhood. Both involve something that we enjoyed. Whether it was a hobby or a person, the way he enjoyed doing what he liked to do, it reminds me of how enjoyed I felt seeing someone. •Question #3: What major ideas/themes from this episode connect to ideas/themes from our composition course? Consider Mallmann's argument about composing a good dish, examining his life environments, and being productive. He stays where he is at and will do things that he likes to do when he chooses. For the people that join him, he tries to teach them how to do it and enjoy that moment. It shows that he can get along with others and willing to teach them a little about what he does.
